As someone with a lot of smart light bulbs, they all look “smart”. In other words the bulbs are slightly opaque and have a white section around the bottom of the bulb that doesn’t look good in certain light sockets. These bulbs look fantastic and you wouldn’t even know they are smart bulbs by looking at them. The bulbs themselves look just like normal Edison bulbs and fit normal E26 sockets. The bulbs do a have a slight tint to the glass so keep that in mind when choosing these, but when lit up they look fantastic. The instructions included could be a little bit better, but essentially you just need to download the “Smart Life” application, open it up, and turn on the light. You might need to flick the light on and off a few times to get it into pairing mode which is indicated by the light flashing on and off. The light is easily controlled with Alexa and can be powered on and off as well as dimmed to different settings. Overall this bulb is easy to use and works great! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fancy looking smart bulb.

I really like these bulbs and I’m very happy with them. I love the vintage Edison filament style and the amber light that they give off, which I find very soothing. I enjoy that they can be dimmed or brightened depending on the circumstances. They are very easy to setup and use as well. After installing them, the Smart Life app immediately found them, then they were added to Alexa making controlling them through either or both apps quite easy. I have had no issues maintaining a connection with them, even after loss of power and internet which is more than I can say for most smart bulbs I’ve used. I would definitely recommend these, just bear in mind that they are not bright white so might not be applicable to certain lighting conditions or requirements.

I ordered these bulbs to upgrade our home with Smart Filament Bulbs, and let me tell you, they’re game-changers! No more fumbling for switches in the dark – I just say “Alexa, turn on the kitchen lights” and boom, instant illumination. They even work with Google Home, so the whole family can control them with their voices. What I really love is the warm, vintage vibe these bulbs cast. They’re like mini-Edisons, filling the room with a cozy glow that’s perfect for relaxing evenings. But they’re not just about looks – they’re smart too! I can dim them from my phone, set schedules for automatic lighting, and even create custom scenes for different moods. Plus, the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi combo means I can control them from anywhere, even when the Wi-Fi’s down.Bottom line? These bulbs are the perfect blend of vintage charm and modern convenience. They’re easy to set up, work flawlessly with voice assistants, and create a stunning atmosphere. If you’re looking for smart lighting that doesn’t sacrifice style, OPPLE’s Smart Filament Bulbs are the way to go!

Appearance-wise, this is a typical Edison type filament bulb that is attractive. These type of bulbs have an warm, orange-like hue.The directions tell you to download the Smart Life – Smart Living app, which I did. I connected my bulbs through the wifi function, adding it manually since it failed to automatically detect it. Once I added it (on first try), I then linked my Smart Life account to my Alexa account, and from that point I could control the bulbs via Alexa. This worked flawlessly, and also on the first time. However, if you already have clusters of smart devices, you may already have another app to control these, and now you will have yet another app to control your smart devices. My advice, and what I did, is to add the bulbs to another app, and I would suggest using the best working, most stable app for that. Not all apps are stable, not all apps will remain linked and controllable via Alexa (or Google assistant). In summary, the bulbs are nice-looking and cast a nice warm rather orange light, and connect easily to multiple apps.

These are stylish vintage looking bulbs that are fairly large and glow at 2100K.This is ideal for a string of lights over a picnic table outside. The color (temperature) is 2100K which is a candle light / orange glow. These are on the far on the end of the kelvin color chart so make sure that is what your looking for. These are about 5.5 Inches, so they are on the larger side and made of glass. You must have the Smart Life – Smart living app to use these. Connecting the devices is a breeze. Plug the bulb in and it will flash until connected. load up the app and search for new devices.2.4ghz wifi is required. Provide the wifi SSID and password that they will connect to and your good to go.Once online- control it on/off for dimming.Worked without a hitch for me.Observations:You need the app: Smart Life – Smart living appYou need 2.4ghz wifiThe color is 2100k, which is a very orange color

These bulbs are very tradional and the color is an amber not white. Depending on use these may or may not work for most people. The bulbs themselves are not glass but plastic so durability is much better. Connecting to a universal app is simple and after turned on I had zero issues setting them up. While they are pretty plain as to settings only brightness can be changed, being smart they can be set up to go on and off at certain times and brightness can adjusted when ever you need. Since the color is amber these would be more of an ambiance lighting than a tradional light for seeing. Also because they are an amber color I question why being smart is necessary since you could do the same thing with a smart switch. Overall the quality, size, and look are great but again for the lighting choice I’m not sure if the smart option is really necessary.

The look of these bulbs is spot on. They look like a classic Edison bulb and not like your typical LED bulb. They feel well constructed.Once I put them in a fixture, they look awesome. They were easy to set up once I downloaded the app. There are several preset light settings for different color ranges and brightness levels. Sometimes I want the full light working mode, but sometimes I like the lower light “mood” lighting when I’m writing. The cool part is I don’t have to get up to dim them or turn them off. I’d left the house and realized I’d forgotten to turn off the lights in the office (the home of these bulbs), and did it remotely. It’s weird to be excited about light bulbs, but here we are.

I have lamps in my office that I can now control on/off and brightness with or without my phone. I just tell my Alexa which lamp I want (or both) and adjust the brightness to fit the need or the mood. They look like regular antique/Edison style bulbs except that when I talk to them, they hear and obey!

Redoing some fixtures in the house where the bulbs can be seen, and these fit nicely with the retro aesthetic I’m going for.

Years ago I tried to install smart bulbs on the lights at the top of the stairs and the bottom of the stairs to our basement. They are on the same switch so when you turn the switch they both go on. I never was able to make smart bulbs work until I tried these. I am frankly really excited because with alexa I can turn them off or on from anywhere in the house. When carrying things I will no longer need to flip the switch. These bulbs were the easiest I have ever installed. I already had the Smart Life app that it uses installed. All I needed to do was install the bulbs, flip the switch up and down until they blink and the app installed them in seconds. I named them, Alexa then found them, I set up a group called basement and it worked.I do have to say these are not white lights they are amber.
