The media could not be loaded. I bought this air purifier due to the Canada wildfires causing air quality issues in my area for the duration of summer- and because I live in an old apartment- for someone with respiratory problems this was a must. it definitely does its job quickly and effectively!it senses changes in air quality fast- if I open a window nearby while the air is bad, the light flips to red and the fan starts running on high. it manages to clear the entirety of my 650 sqft apartment in minutes. I’ve even noticed it starts running a little harder after I use dry shampoo. it has five fan settings- auto (which changes fan speed depending on the air quality), night mode (does the same but quietly and therefore more slowly), and 3 set fan speeds. I included a video which hopefully shows noise level and fan power well. (please excuse my cat, she liked my tissue paper method)setup was ridiculously easy. just plug it in, connect to the app, and it starts going at it. it is a bit large, but the design is modern and pleasing enough that it’s not an eyesore. it’s also not heavy at all, definitely less than 10lbs.the app is also very convenient- you can control fan speed, schedule (if you want one), a child lock, and even the brightness of the LEDs. while away from home I can check in and see if there have been any spikes in poor quality air. blue air also has a wonderful feature that allows you to see the remaining lifetime of your filter. I believe the model I bought has an advertised lifetime of 6-9months, and after a full month of use on auto mode, I’m still at 93%.the only negative I’ve noticed so far is not even really due to the purifier itself- the outside is fabric, which is turning out to be a very tempting scratching post for my cats. I believe the fabric can be replaced however so it’s not really a big deal.overall I really love this purifier, it’s definitely made a difference in my breathing this summer!

Such a nice upgrade in looks, performance and very quiet operation. The price is right too. Would not connected to my 2.4G wifi or app being the only downside. Not a problem at all, imo it functions great without it. Auto and blackout mode is so fantastic. Set it up and forget about it.

These are the quietest air purifiers I have ever purchased. Very easy set up. Turn it on and let it run. There has been a noticeable difference in the air quality in our house. It takes out odors quickly and there is much less dust on our hardwood floors. The bluetooth and app are very handy to check filter condition and turn power off and on. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

I needed this to clean the air in my house because of a water leak causing mold. I needed it while I waited to get the problem fixed. However, I wonder why I didn’t get one before. I sleep better with cleaner air. At night it’s quiet, the lights dim, and I have no problems with the machine. I programmed it to run on high speed an hour before my bedtime so the air is clean before I sleep.

We get smoke in our house during the winter from all the woodstoves in the neighborhood. There was an immediate difference in the air quality in our house. I put one in each bedroom and a bigger one in the living room. They are so quiet I don’t even notice them! Also they freshen the air to remove pet and cooking odors. I highly recommend these!

The 211i Max is also of a higher quality design and construction. The fan and motor produce less wobble and vibration.Contrary to experiences with other purifiers, the app works well and keeps a history of AQI readings in graph form.The 211i Max is much better priced than the other up-market brands like IQAir,

Bought this originally because we were living in a camper. The camper itself is not sealed the greatest (non-are) and we wanted to have something to help filter the air. In a space if about 360 sqft, this puppy cleans the air fast! I mean, fast! A few times when we were cooking the display would show the ppm rising as air particles became polluted. Placing the unit on high would filter any smoke or smell out in about 5 minutes. The fabric pre-filter on the outside is nice because it’s mesh and actually traps dust and dog hair before it even makes it to the main filter. I think that’s why the main filter lasts as long as it does. I’ve had for about 6 months or so and still have the original filter. Now having a child who is I’ll and has frequent hospitalizations, I trust this unit to filter out my homes upstairs air. Upstairs is about 1000 sqft and having sanitized, cleaned and wiped down every surface I have yet to sneeze and we have been back in our house for over 3 weeks. This is a great product. When it comes to the health and we’ll being if the family, I will be purchasing a few more like this. Highly highly recommend!! Could not be happier!

When I got this air purifier (311i+ Max) I was unable to connect it to wifi. I emailed Blueair and got a response that gave the same instructions as in the manual with the device. I emailed back for them to please read my whole question and see the screen shots and proof of purchase I had provided initially. I got a second email telling me to do the same as the first one. I emailed again, a little more strongly worded. This was on about 11/27. Today I finally got a response by a human and was instructed to do a factory reset which worked. If anyone else needs to know, hold the power button down for about 30 seconds or even a little more and the lights will flash 4 times. Let up the power button and it will flash twice then go into stand by. Press the power button and proceed as normal and it will connect.As far as how it works. It took a couple days to get rid of the smell of wood fires from my neighbor’s fireplace but within about 30 minutes of use my eyes stopped burning. And when I moved my refrigerator and set free a lot of dust it ramped up for about 5 minutes (I have it set on auto) and again it ramped up when I was cooking once. So I know it works. It is very quiet, can’t hear it at all on the lowest setting which is what it is on unless it has more work to do. I am very pleased with this air purifier.

This was rated as the top 5 Hepa filter on Consumer reports and was much more expensive than the others. It’s amazing how you can feel the air from it on the high setting on the other side of the room. It’s a lot bigger in person that it appears to be in the picture. Took away the old house smell where I live.
