Works well enough for a sink, and only that. Nobody should be under any illusions this is meant for anything but..When I first hooked it up, purged the air, turned on the electric and hit the power button, nothing happened. I thought it might be DoA like others reported; sure I wired it correctly as the other 120v device on the same circuit was working, I tried running some water, and boom it lit up. For some reason the power button will turn on/off when no water is flowing, but the LED display will not illuminate unless so.Live in southern California, Santa Barbara, its almost September, ground water is getting fairly cold. Heats only about 0.25GPM to “hot” ~95-100*. Thinking of replacing with the 6kw, uses the same wiring just gotta make room in my panel for another double pole breaker.

It solved my problem at a second kitchen sink perfectly. Had an initial kink in that it did not work and marked E1 on the display which I could not find its meaning anywhere. Was finally able to contact the manufacturer who sent me a heat sensor to replace the problem. When I opened the casing I discovered that the sensor had not been plugged in. It has been working well since.

This is the 2nd one I’ve bought for my house. (The other was the 6W) They are both great units for heating the water at a kitchen sink before the hot water can make it upstairs from the basement. The only drawback is that the temperature cannot be set to a certain limit (to the best of my knowledge). It sometimes gets very hot before evening out. All adults in this household, so it’s not a problem. You might want to be careful with small kids . All in all, a great value. We’re happy with them.

I purchased the 110V 3.5kW version and installed it. At the same time, I also purchased the Ecosmart POU 3.5 Point of Use Electric Tankless Water Heater, 3.5KW@120-Volt. I installed both on the same day: one for the kitchen sink and another for a bedroom sink. The Atmor unit costs less, but it barely heats the water to lukewarm, whereas the Ecosmart unit works much better. I would recommend the Ecosmart unit because keeps heating the water for fast or slow flow rate. The Atmor units shuts down if the water flow is too high — not a good design.

Just installed the unit and it was super easy took only 30min if that. Made one trip to the HW store and got the right supply hoses and never needed any adapters just 1/2fip supply line and a 30amp plug. The in and out on the heater are standard water supply 1/2″NPT. I already had a 30amp circuit under the sink for the disposal so just plugged into that. Note: You need a 30amp power plug and the unit water outlets are standard 1/2″ supply hose so I don’t know why some reviews says it’s not. The install is fast and easy if you prepare ahead of time.

We installed this 120VAC 30 Amp under the kitchen sink to feed the sink and dishwasher, water got real hot fast.Did not use any tech support. A good heater we have another one 240VAC 60A going on 10 years for the whole house, but we wasted a lot of water as it is far from the kitchen, no more wasting water.

Our water temperature is 57 degrees and drops as water runs under house. The small 120V POU 3.5 120V unit heated the water to 75 degrees (good enough for washing hands and face) instantly and up to 104 in about 25 seconds. I had to mount upside down to configure 120V connection and plumbing connections easily. I am very happy with purchase.

I had to return because amperage is very high… I would have needed to run 10 gauge wire and add a 40 amp breaker. They were quick to issue a full refund.

This is an excellent replacement for my old broken propane water heater in my travel trailer. Note- I am hooked up in a park. This is an excellent investment. I no longer worry about hot water running out when I shower, or do dishes.

Love having warm/hot water to wash up with at night in upstairs bathroom sink without letting gallons of water run down the sink first. This unit is for slower running water (think well water pressure) and fit well under a single basin sink vanity with drawers. Did need its own 30amp breaker which was a bit of a pain but worth it.
