So I’ve only had it a couple of days, used for pour over coffee and making tea. The built-in strainer is cool to make tea in the kettle but its difficult to clean out, plus im concerned about residual left in the kettle, ill probably just use the tea pot for tea. First electric kettle ive owned and I really like it. I did not have an issue with the contralls, they may have changed how the instructions are written. The one thing that may be weird for some people is the hotter preset values are from left to right, so if you want to increase temperature using the preset values, you’ll turn the knob to the left. But theres a display so its really not that big of a deal. I like how simple it looks and its glass. It also has a small footprint. The base is plastic and feels a bit cheap but that doesn’t bother me either.

I love all the preset programmable settings. I also love that you can manually set the temperature. The opening is large enough to fit you hand to clean the inside well. It looks very stylish and fancy. Excellent design and tea pot! Highly recommend!

I love this so far. It works as advertised. It is very quiet and simple to operate. I lasso love that it doesn’t take up much space. I love the keep warm option that allows me to prepare several cups of tea and keep it at the perfect temperature. No quality issues so far. No tea leaves escaping. It is super easy to clean.

I use this every day. I love it so much. One thing to note is to not overfill. I stopped using the metal insert and I use disposable, organic. refillable teabags to get the most flavor from my tea in every kettle. When it says not to overfill it, they mean it! It’s a pain to clean it up when it gets to that rolling boil! Cleaning is the only downfall. I live in a place with hard water and using tap water makes the metal plate gross quickly. I tried using Affresh coffee maker cleaner, and that was a disaster. I used vinegar and baking soda and it did nothing. The only thing that worked to get it back to its original shine is liquid Bar Keeper’s Friend. It took less than a minute to get the gunk off. Just be sure to rinse it really, really well after using it and allow it to dry completely before using it again. I now only use boiled or distilled water in my kettle to avoid this hard-to-clean build-up.

I got this mainly for the temperature options: not only all the presets but also the ability to choose your own temp as well. “Style” lost one star from the rating due to the unnecessary and bright writing on the front of the base. As others have mentioned, the display could be a bit brighter, though I’m using it under a light so I don’t have any issues seeing it. Also, the volume measurements on the pitcher part are in liters, would be nice if they showed ounces as well, since this is made in the US and most US measurements I’ve seen are not in liters…. I’ve only used it a few times so far, but I’m liking it.

This is a great kettle. The only thing is I wish the black tea preset was the first option instead of having to scroll to the end. Otherwise good quality.
