Setup can be complicated for these cameras, but this one was surprisingly easy. My setup only took 10 minutes max. Here were the steps I took:Download the SmartLife app, sign up with an email and provide the verification code that is sentAgree to Terms and ConditionsPlug camera into a power source with the provided USB cable and dongleTurn on my phone’s bluetoothAdd Device buttonAt this stage, the app could not find the camera automatically so I went to add it manually in the category “Camera and Lock”, then “Smart Camera (Wi-Fi)”.The app gave a QR code, which I then held up to the camera lens from a distance while the camera’s red light was blinking. It gave a sound when it read the QR code.At this point the app is able to add the camera.At the Home screen of your app, you can see the camera is added. If the camera is connected properly and no problems came up during the test, you can click on it and it will show you the camera’s view on your phone. There are several options on the bottom of the screen. You can press the incomplete square icon to change to landscape view, then the back button to go back to portrait. There is a camera option to take photos. In the middle, there is a phone icon to allow two-way audio. When you press it, your phone sets up a call with the camera so that when you talk through your phone, your voice is sent to the camera. This is useful if you want to talk to your kids or your pets, or even say hello to the occasional burglar. 😉 The next button over can record video and send it to your phone, and finally the last arrow button can give you additional settings such as light/dark mode, motion tracking, motion detection, sound detection, etc.The cool thing about this camera is that once it is connected to your phone, you can pretty much watch the footage from anywhere as long as you are connected to a network or using cellular data. Your phone does not need to be close to the camera in order to see the footage. Another cool feature is that when you swipe the streaming video on your phone, you can actually move the camera head to look in different directions. I found this really neat because I have it set to look out the window, but I also want to keep track of the door so that if there were any intruders, I could….say hello.There is the ability to store footage on an SD card, but you have to buy the SD card separately. The other option would be to press the record button and then the camera would just store it on your phone. I think the versatility of this camera is pretty neat!

The LuckSun WiFi camera is AWESOME! Every single feature tested and works as described.The BEST most single important well-thought out feature, especially for our home, is the “CALL BUTTON”. While most every other camera does incorporate 2-way talk, this LuckSun has a button located on the front side as shown, for who ever needs to contact YOU while you are away, they simply press that button, which then ALERTS you of an incoming call. Recently Mom’s phone battery died and she needed to contact us. She remembered to use the CALL BUTTON and we were notified immediately. For our family, this is by far an IMPORTANT feature. EASY setup, easy operation! Download the “SmartLife” app ( or scan QR code), Sign-up with email, read “User Agreement Privacy policy” and click “Agree”. Quick and simple. Mobile number also can be used, which either one will provide a verification code to log in and get started. Most features are standard, just like other cameras (depending on model) such as motion/sound detection, night vision ( Amazing clarity & brightness) , SD card slot ( SD card not included) and two-way audio (talk/listen). All tested working properly on our LuckSun cam. Easy to navigate features on the app (phone). Up/Down full body scan a thumbs up! Video recording ( can be saved to phone), Take a picture, landscape/portrait modes available and full screen viewing. More great features include: Pan, Tilt and Zoom ( up to 4x zoom). Impressive quality for zoom really helps us see closer and with a very good detail too! The near 360 degree rotation is perfect for FULL room viewing and works beautifully from the App point of view as well as quiet smooth operation on the camera side. Please note this works with 2.4G Wi-Fi, (5G is not supported). App works with iPhone, Android and tablets.Everything needed is packaged inside an attractive flip open box, ( instruction booklet, cord, adapter, cam and fasteners). By far, this LuckSun camera is the BEST we have in our home ( and we have several different models). I can’t emphasize enough how important the “CALL BUTTON” is to our family. That alone makes this a TRUE 5-STAR product! Very HIGH RECOMMENDATION for such a low price!!

I am shocked at how well this works, especially for the price. The set up had a few minor snags, but nothing I couldn’t work out in under 10 minutes. The camera itself is light, and small enough to fit anywhere, it also seems durable enough in case it takes a small fall. Don’t expect it to survive a trip down the stairs, but if it slips off of its perch once or twice it should be ok. The picture quality is nice, it’s not 4K or anything, but it’s more than fine for a security camera. In fact, it’s definitely on par with my WYZE camera the camera and app are loaded with features, and all of them work very well. The camera pans, side to side and up-and-down without issue, and the motion tracking is surprisingly flawless. That is the most surprising part, how well that actually works. Night vision is awesome, it can be controlled manually or allowed to turn on and off based on the ambient light. It also includes an infrared light which can be turned on and off manually, (especially useful if you are mounting this in front of a window). All of the alerts in the app work relatively well, it has only hiccuped once or twice. Speaking of the app, it is very intuitive and works seamlessly with the camera. The camera integrates with Google Home just fine and you can also get the feed on a Google Home device with a screen. All in all, this is a great, great camera, and I am very impressed.

Super easy to install and set up. Had it going in less than 5 minutes. I used the ceiling mount and attached it upside down on the ceiling. It has a nice long cord. The resolution is sharp, the nigh vision is excellent. (of course I used it inside where I have some faint night lights.) especially for such an inexpensive camera. The app features are very intuitive and the wifi link was pretty stable despite all the other cameras I have running at the same time. Came packaged well, would work great as a baby monitor as the sound quality was excellent and it could pick up some pretty faint sounds.

So many features for a really, really great price point! This camera was super easy to set up and get going. The app you install on your phone is very user friendly. My husband usually needs my help with technology, and I only had to show him how to use it once lol! My husband is currently undergoing treatment for a variety of medical conditions. I love being able to check on him when he is up at night and can’t sleep without having to get out of bed. We also check on our pets when we are out of the house for appointments and such. This camera is giving us peace of mind when we really need it. It performs all the functions the ad describes easily. This camera is a really great part of our home security and it integrated flawlessly into our daily life. We love it!

The camera was unboxed and the Qucik Guide read. The iPhone application (Smart Life) was download via the QR code in the guide. The add device function was started and Camera & lock section was selected. The camera model I have was the first one in this section. I tapped the camera and followed the on screen prompts to quickly add the camera. Once added I setup the motion dection by turning on motion tracking and motion detection. Alert notification was turned on in the iPhone settings. I also installed a 64 gb SD card to record to. Recording can be set to non-stop or event recording. It can also be scheduled. The pan/tilt functions very well. It’s repsonse is quick and easily controled.This camera also does ONVIF which means it will work with any other device that is ONVIF compliant. I have a Amcrest DVR and when the ONVIF function of the camera was turn on it was detected on the DVR. The pan/tilt works along with with the recording function all work through the DVR.

Set up was easy and took about 5 minutes. It scans 360 degrees so that’s awesome. If you have it set to look out a window, it doesn’t allow you to see outside – only a glare. But during the day you can use it to see out a window. You use an app to view the the live video when you’re away from home or just in another room. You can talk through the app on your phone and anyone in the room where the camera is, will hear you. So it’s AMAZING for pets when you’re away. You can talk to your pets and actually see what they are doing. This product is worth every cent and I want to get a few more for other rooms. It’s small so it doesn’t stand out too much but it looks nice either way.

The first thing I did with this is freak out my dogs. It was the funniest thing ever!! I was talking to them through it and they could not figure out where I was! Too fun. But seriously, the images are fantastic, even at night. The sound is clear. Hook up was a breeze. What a great price!

I actually like this camera, it twists to look in different directions and the night vision is awesome and the clarity in the videos is great too. I would recommend this camera if you are looking for a camera that won’t break the bank! Or are on a budget or just wanna try something other than the ones that are out on market right now. You can’t go wrong with the price!

I got this so I can see what my dog does while I am away from the house. He is crate-trained, but I was very curious whether he barked while we are away. Since he is in his crate, it didn’t activate the camera’s sweeping motion sensor. But it has a very clear picture and two-way sound. Solid value.
