Overview: This Gimili Commercial Faucet EXCEEDED my expectations in terms of build quality, fit & finish, ease of installation, and overall functionality. It is made from solid Brass you can see this when you turn faucet on its side to install hot/cold water lines – and the sheer weight of the fixture. I’ve taken several pictures of the brushed nickel finish – I recommend buying traditional finishes – chrome, oiled bronze, brushed nickel, possibly the other metallic finishes brass, gold, champagne, I would not recommend painted colors or mixed metals with paint – anything with black/matte black reason being the metallic finishes have been around and are usually applied using PVD technology which will last a very long time – the pained finishes may be power coated/baked similar to automotive finishes and may not be as durable over time considering the sudden drastic temperature changes, wet conditions, harsh chemicals used in and around the sink area and the abrasion caused by parts rubbing against each other and even your hands touching parts over and over. The Perfection of the machined parts fitting perfectly, even with the optional use plate, all parts fit well, so far after 10 days no leaks, valves (all 3 – main handle/temp/volume adjustment, Pot filler – volume only and Spray Wand Push valve – volume only) work smoothly, evenly – quality “feel” and without drips. Before installing I gently tightened spray hose onto main assembly, left Spray wand detached so I could flush lines after installation – good thing I did because my main shutoff under sink is old and washers are very worn – black water came out which is a sign those washers are shot – I will replace those valves once I get proper parts delivered.Installation: I read all of the “so called Bad reviews” many of them were complaints about installation – everything from how to tell hot from cold lines when connecting feed pipes to fixture to hoses being too short – they were perfect length for my arrangement – feed pipes and valves coming from basement through wall inside cabinet about halfway up. If you old fixture required extensions then so will this one – those extensions can be purchased at any Home Depot/Lowes/Walmart etc.. or ordered for 1-2 day delivery on amazon, The connectors are US standard 3/8″ compression – any home built to current standards will have this type of connection for a sink (don’t know about mobile homes). The type of threads/fitting is called 3/8″ the nut to tighten is NOT 3/8″ use the correct size wrench there is no standard for the nut size some are as large as 3/4″ for 3/8″ fitting – I don’t remember what this was – I have open end SAE set that goes from 1/8″ to 7/8″ and everything in between- if you are doing this kind of job yourself – you should own a set of SAE open end wrenches or at least an adjustable plumbers wrench and some teflon plumbers tape – otherwise get someone who knows how to do this and has correct tools, you shouldn’t be doing this if u can’t figure out what wrench to use. Next Issue I noticed is which Washer/gasket goes where – although the directions are extremely well written better than most American Faucets I have purchased – I included pictures of those sections – the one BLACK rubber gasket has a raised edge on one side that fits perfectly and flush on bottom of fixture put it there and push it in so it seats flush screw in hot cold lines (see picture) – if u lay faucet on its back with lever on the right you’ll notice on lever 2 dots one red one blue – red is in front blue in back now look at bottom of faucet while it is laying there two holes for the pipes one in front one in back – blue/cold/back, red/hot/front – that simple. I also enclosed a picture of a $less than $2.00 long nose mini vises grip I got as part of a cheap set at Tractor Supply Company as part of a cheap set of mini vise grips, I’m sure Harbor Freight has a cheap set in the “Clearance Bins” as well – if you are careful u can use these to gently tighten a 1/4 turn after hand tighten the hoses to the fixture careful not to damage the steel braid on outside of flexible pipe – don’t really need to do this – I also put a light coat of silicone or teflon grease on the threads of all the brass fittings including the big one that holds faucet on sink – it makes screwing things down easier and smoother and if u need to disassemble in the future u will be glad you added the grease – prevents corrosion. Just a little on threads and O-rings on flex pipes – don’t get any inside the pipe. After pipes and black Gasket is installed next is the plate ONLY if you are covering up unused holes – if sink has only one hole u don’t need plate. Now u need someone to hold faucet and plate nice and straight – use a ruler to make sure plate is centered front/back and parallel to the rim of sink, hold fixture nice and vertical inside plate hole. While u go under countertop / sink and thread on white rubber washer first – I put the textured side towards bottom of sink then metal washer then big nut with two screws on either side threaded in just enough to hold them in – of course screw heads are facing towards the floor (see picture of heavy duty long handled Philips Head Screw Driver = I can’t believe bad reviews because installer didn’t know/have a long handled screw driver – again considering how cheap these tools are now-a days – there is no excuse for not having a set or else don’t do work like this) Here is another complaint – IT WOBBLES – here is how to get a nice secure faucet – lightly hand tighten large nut to top – IMPORTANT – THEN BACK IT OUT – LOOSEN NUT AT LEAST 2 to 5 TURNS – see DIRECTIONS I POSTED – If you tighten nut all the way then try to tighten screws – it won’t work – the nut has to have small space – I didn’t measure but at least an 1/8-1/4″ lower than the bottom of sink – enough to screw in both screws almost all the way – there should be some threads left on nut screws – you don’t want them to bottom out – if they do, back them out and tighten nut a couple of full 360 degree turns – complete revolutions – you want some screw 1/8=3/8 still exposed – when u tighten screws do both sides together going from one tighten a bit then the other then back and forth so they tighten evenly you don’t want one screwed in almost all the way and the other only 3/4 of the way – then should be even – when u start to feel it getting harder to turn ask your partner to see if faucet is tight with a little wobble – you want it so faucet doesn’t wobble plate should not move – now faucet is top heavy but when you pull down sprayer a little give is ok it will never be ROCK solid so long as it isn’t loose at the base and baseplate is not sliding = hand tighten with screwdriver only no wrenches – you shouldn’t be struggling where the correct size screwdriver is slipping off the screw because of the force u are applying. REMEMBER DO NOT TIGHTEN NUT ALL THE WAY TO BASE OF SINK – LOOSEN IT UNTIL SOME THREADS ARE EXPOSED BETWEEN BOTTOM OF SINK AND TOP OF NUT AND USE THE SIDE SCREWS ON THE NUT TO TIGHTEN FAUCET TO PLATE/AND/OR TOP OF SINK – Tighten until faucet is not wobbling and baseplate cannot be slid around top of sink also fixture should not easily rotate inside plate if you try and spin it with just your hand. A single wrap of teflon tape on 3/8″ male on/off valve threads should make for a leakproof connection DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN the nuts – they ae compression fitting and have integrated rubber washers that seal the connection – if u overtighten u can crack the nut then u need new hoses from fixture to water feed – I know because I have made this mistake in the past. Just tight enough so water hose does not spin inside nut – Also make sure you hold water hose perfectly vertical as u tighten nut – you’ll notice the hose and nut spin separately u don’t want to twist the hose as u tighten nut keep it straight and untwisted otherwise it could unseat inside fixture or it could break – its a plex hose covered in stainless steel braid with compression fittings on both ends.Soap Dispenser – Simple to install see instructions – 2 rubber washers one on top one on bottom. Works great with any liquid soap and container is extra-large holds 2x as much soap as my old Moen soap dispenser. Also refills from top just pull out pump mechanism and refill. Brushed Nickel finish matches faucet.Function – This Faucet would probably not pass California’s restricted water pressure codes, but I live in NJ no water issue here and I LOVE the pressure – old faucet took over 90 seconds for hot water to get to kitchen this one 30 seconds or less even in 20-degrees F outdoor winter conditions!! I took photos of just sprayer at full blast, just pot filler at full blast and BOTH at full blast – the best water pressure I ever had in any household fixture – truly a commercial fixture as u need that kind of pressure to clean baked on food and grease from pots/pans and dishes pre-rinse before dishwasher. Manufacturer recommends that main water handle be shut off for long periods of not using water – like overnight – it is easy to use the separate pot filler and sprayer water regulators and forget to turn off main faucet regulator/temperature handle valve – I have 60-65 PSI water pressure (was over 90 PSI until I put a water pressure regulator on my main water incoming line after I blew up several fixtures, ice maker fill valve, washing machine auto fill valve and ultimately, my Natural Gas Hot Water heater developed leaks way sooner than it should have because pressure way too high. So, at 60-65 PSI it is within standards but you don’t want to have even that continuously hitting your smaller regulators (pot filler & Spray wand) in your faucet for no good reason for that extended time – they were not designed for that – the main valve was – so use it – I always leave my pot filler regulator on about 25% so I remember to use the main valve regulator and water temp control handle. Finally – PRICE- for this price I don’t know how they do it – lets compare to big name brands – first you will not get a Kohler, American Standard, Delta etc.. all brass faucet for under $400-$500, the closest model Kohler had to this one with much lower water pressure a cheap plastic parts spray head, and restrictions in using only one filler at a time (with pot filler or spray not both at same time) and it was $800. Folks complain it is made in China – So are every American Brand under $400-$500 – they too are made in China. Warranty – that is the only substantial difference I noticed – the name brands offer limited lifetime warranties – most will provide parts for life of faucet and several will substitute a new model if old model parts are no longer stocked – for example Kraus used to make this model they stopped and offer a model with an awful plastic spray wand that is the single most troublesome part – one owner had this model made by Kraus and when it needed parts they sent them the new model – they complained after a couple of months saying they wanted this model back – unfortunately Kraus no longer makes this model. I wrote the manufacturer with two questions – does their Brass contain lead and why only a 2 year warranty – they answered no lead and they will support product well after 2 year period and will provide parts – common parts like valves most likely no charge or minimal charge after 2 years – it depends on what needs replacement and why – obviously if your house losses heat and the faucet burst from well below freezing temperatures that is not a manufacturing defect. But the way I see this is I could buy 3 to 4 of these before I can get one Kohler with none of these features. So long as there are no catastrophic failures that cause extensive property damage (although my Moen after 13 years burst its hot water line – thank goodness I installed Govee smart water alarms all around the house – they notify me wherever I am in the world via text and email that I have a leak and exactly where that leak is as each device I custom named i.e. kitchen sink, HW heater, Sump Pump etc… I get loud audible alarm as well as messages time and date stamped – I can remotely reset to determine if it was a small leak or constant flow). Moens limited Lifetime warranty does not cover any damage to my home just parts to fix faucet.Cons: The only con is my old faucet handle was on the left this one is on the right – just have to get used to that – other than that I love it….

Great product at a reasonable price. Look at similar ones at local stores and they were twice the price. We’ve had it installed about a month and love it. Great pressure, great feature. Looks great with our black sink. Highly recommend.

Installation:Was simple, and typical of any faucet install – crawl under the sink, forget the wrench, crawl out, get the wrench, crawl back in, etc. All of the needed components and accessories were included, and it went very well.Quality and use review:The quality of this is excellent – the valves shut off completely, no drips, the head comes down nicely and covers the whole sink area. The ‘pot filler’ is sweet – it swings over the entire area, and is very handy. The spray head also swings to cover the entire area, and locks up nicely in its mount. The spray head only sprays! At first I had doubts about liking this, and I love it. Most of the time I am rinsing or washing pots, etc and use the spray anyway/ For filling pots or washing hands, the pot filler works dandy, and swings out of the way when you need clearance.Last note – I leave the master handle on all the time, and adjust it only for temperature. This provides instand water to whatever handle I need it at.All in all, I could not be happier.

I looked at a million different faucets and finally settled on trying this one out. I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The quality of the faucet is excellent – no cheap shiny plastic “chrome” – all metal. Sturdy and substantial. I love the features and the pot filler is great as an addition to the faucet/sprayer. Tons of water pressure which really cleans off the plates. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend.

This faucet is the best value for the money. I replaced my existing one due to water saver. This faucet puts out plenty of water quickly, the sprayer is absolutely awesome. Very easy to install, removed the old one and installed the new one in 30 minutes.

Purchased this faucet because of the versatility of having a separate sprayer built-in and ability to utilize both together and separately as desired. Our kitchen sink is on a dedicated, small diameter and very long plumbing run that is prone to clogging due to low/slow flows; therefore, we also required a faucet that would allow for increased flow rates to help flush the line with increased volume on occasion (running faucet and sprayer simultaneously allows for much more flow volume then we were capable of getting with our restricted flow faucet). The flow control is much more precise and controllable than our prior faucet. Our application required longer supply lines than the ones provided (we needed about 34″ to reach the shutoffs for hot/cold). I contacted the seller via email as directed in instructions and they very quickly resolved my issue by sending me longer length supply lines at no charge. Customer service was excellent and greatly exceeded my expectations. Emphasis on fast response and fast resolution to my issue. After using for only a few days, here are some design items I wish were included that would only make the functionality even better as follows:1. Wish the sprayer holder was higher to allow for more room to clean under it while stowed in holder.2. Wish the main faucet extended out further (if the sprayer was raised there would be more room to extend the faucet nozzle). This would allow more clearance from back of sink and the main hot/cold flow control lever which is long and when tilted to the side of the faucet they are too close to one another.3. Wish it came as a 3-hole bracket so you could also tighten the two outer holes to the sink. This rig is very tall and I fear that pulling on the top sprayer over time may impact the single anker point at the base.Perhaps they offer alternatives with some of these features already and we just didn’t see them when shopping.

I like the look…… Semi-Pro. Many compliments from friends. It is so flexible in the ways that you can operate it. The regular faucet is highly aerated and flows strong. The Pull down Sprayer has excellent power and controllabllity. The install was less than half and hour. I wish I wouldn’t have waited so long to purchase this. Two of my friends have ordered two for themselves. Impressive! I had a expensive Pull down Faucet, I bought at Costmore 🙂 It was a very limited faucet, the parts were pricey and the compatablity had limited avalibility. I Highly recommend, GIMILI Kitchen Faucet with Pull Down Sprayer for the price; it is a bargin.

Purchased this faucet a few months back in 2023, and it starts to leak. Send an email to customer service and the next day got a reply from Sunny stating the replacement part got sent out along with a VIDEO showing how to replace it and a tracking # for the package! Not only the product is great (with the exception of the minor leak) but this company has also a great customer service. Definitely will recommend this product. — Ken
