Because of the price, I was worried that the quality would’t be there. We went ahead with it, because we’re hoping to renovate the kitchen eventually … if we love the faucet, we’ll keep it. If not, it will tide us over. Happily, it has been impressive so far. I’ll update if anything changes. The design is thoughtful; the build quality is solid; the temperature cartridge seems as good as any; the finish is perfect. And, unlike some faucets, it was designed to be very easy to install. The mounting nut is solid brass, and has a couple of screws that let you do the final tightening with a screwdriver—something you can easily fit into the tight space between the underside of the sink and the wall. The hoses and connectors seem like good quality. I like to spend as little time as possible crawling around under a sink, and Kraus has made my life easier than they might have. The hose extension works smoothly. The spray button is designed to reset on its own to regular flow. A nice touch. My only complaint is that the spray head itself is made out of plastic, not the confidence-inspiring plated brass of the rest of the faucet. But it’s good quality plastic (ABS) that probably won’t break. And Kraus seems to be a real company with customer service and parts availability, so if something breaks you should be ok.Finally, it looks great. Like a classy version of the sprayer you’d use to powerwash a mountain of pans in the dungeon a of restaurant. I realize this is not everyone’s esthetic, but it works for me.

Was easy to install, the hose works really well and stretches pretty far. Quality metal product with a great design.

Absolutely wonderful upgrade from a builder-grade faucet. Looks high end, was so simple to install, and works great.

I love it! Works great, love the automatic function, love the color, quality. Honest review from honest person. Worth every penny!

This faucet was exactly what I was looking for. I installed it about a month ago, and have really come to like it a lot. The construction of the faucet itself is very high quality. I had trouble removing my old faucet because it was rusted on so badly, but once I got it off, installing this faucet was super easy.Installation is as easy as screwing the faucet into place, and tightening down the set screws on the under side. I made them “very tight” (with a socket ratchet wrench) and I do not have problems like others have mentioned with the faucet itself rotating– people with those problems likely did not get it tight enough. The water connections are high quality as well. The reach of the spray head was one of the reasons I went with this faucet. I wanted the ability to still fill pots to the side of my sink. A lot of the spring top faucets do not have the ability to also extend out like this one does. The finish on this is also very nice, and practically stays clean on it’s own. A simple wipe removes any sign of water spots forming. The faucet head has an easy toggle to switch between the default stream to a sprayer head. When the water is stopped, it clicks back to stream for the next time. The toggle feels very easy and light to operate. One minor problem is that I sometimes bump it when filling up my tea kettle that has its handle permanently affixed over the filling lid, but this is not a major problem to me. The whole spray head is plastic, but I think that is to keep the weight down. It does feel quality enough when using it, for sure. If the plastic head ever fails, though, it can easily be removed and replaced down the road. It also comes with a flow restrictor in it, but they also provide a more open replacement for that. I tried both out.The faucet does kind of wiggle a lot when starting and stopping the water, but that is somewhat to be expected with the spring and exposed hose design of it.Overall, if this is the style you are looking for in your kitchen, I highly recommend this faucet. It is a very reasonable price for it. I compared to several competitor models, and really liked the features this one provided, and found that the price of this one was less than the ones I compared, so it felt like a no brainer. And I was not at all disappointed with the quality of the faucet. It is definitely higher quality than the crap faucet I replaced it with.

Solid build quality and matte black looks great! Install was simple and a much better design then my last, which required a wrench to tighten, this one you are able to hand tighten and then utilize screws to complete the seal which is so much easier when working in confined space.I noticed some reviews speaking to the counterweight getting caught on existing plumbing, but I actually prefer the design to this counterweight to my previous. It is easy to fix if you do have this issue, you can either create a barrier like a piece of cardboard or you can use the hot/cold lines in such a way that they come around the hose line and serve as sort of a barrier to hold it in place.Would recommend and will keep for years to come!

Update/Edit!: Kraus’s customer service was extremely responsive and sent the 2.2 gpm flow restricter quickly. Changing it out was as easy as anything possibly could be. Super happy with this faucet and the service. My wife and I are super happy with this faucet. It looks great and was incredibly easy to install. However, most faucets have a deck plate included, and this one does not. The flow at 1.8 gpm is good, but a little less than we’re used to, and the 2.2 gpm flow restricter mentioned in the FAQ is not included either. I contacted Kraus to send the part… I will update this review when I hear back.

Update! Great customer service and repair part is en route. We’ve had this now for two years and it’s been great! In the last two months, however the weight keeps falling off which controls the recoil. The plastic “button” to change from a stream to shower spray just broke off and it’s not repairable. Expected a longer life than 2 years.

We purchased this faucet as an inexpensive upgrade for resale. I was expecting something of lesser quality at this price point but was surprised by the weight, fabrication, water pressure and the strong stable magnetic dock. The weight attached under the sink to retract the hose is heavy enough to securely pull the sprayer back into position. It was extremely easy to install. Note though that the included water supply lines were too short to extend to the water valves that extend from the floor under the sink. I ended up purchasing an adapter to attach a water line extension but it was well worth the price. Highly recommended.

This faucet is a great addition to any kitchen! The pull-down sprayer feels sturdy and changes streams effortlessly but not so easily that it doesn’t stay put on the spray setting you want. The holder keeps the spray head in place while allowing you to move it side to side to spray the contents of the sink. The temperature handle moves smoothly to get the desired temperature and stays off when returned upright.Great value and a great faucet!
