First of all, I went through 4 bidets trying to find one that fit this crappy toilet. The Jacuzzi Primo does not have enough water pressure for the bidet to work at its maximum potential. The main thing is that this bidet fits. It is a little longer in the front but no big deal. The electrical cord is longer and on the left (looking toward it) when most are on the right with shorter cords. The bidet works very nicely. After everything I went through to find a bidet to fit, I’m thinking on buying a new toilet for better water pressure.UPDATE: Still, this is a very nice bidet and works very well and the water pressure on it works fine. I bought this to make life easier for myself and my 94 year old mom whom I am caregiver for since she has Alzheimer’s and rheumatoid arthritis, but had to send it back because there isn’t a remote and she couldn’t reach the buttons on the side. Also, it’s very complicated to figure out all of the functions especially since I have ADD.

As a tech enthusiast, I approach every gadget with a critical eye. The Kohler PureWash E590 doesn’t disppointment.Pressure Play: The E590’s spray is a marvel of adjustability. From a gentle cascade to a targeted power wash, it caters to every cleansing preference. The pulsating mode is a nice touch, adding a rhythmic massage element.Temperature Titan: The seat’s rapid heating and precise water temperature control ensure a hot wash and no more goosebumps!Spray Sensei: The oscillating and positional nozzle movement is like a robotic dance of cleanliness, ensuring thorough coverage. Plus, the self-cleaning and UV sanitation features put hygiene on autopilot.Easy Installation: The quick-connect fittings and clear instructions make installation a breeze, even for non-DIYers like myself.Intuitive Interface: The side panel controls are a model of user-friendliness. Everything from spray strength to dryer temperature is clearly labeled and readily accessible.Nightlight Nirvana: The subtle nightlight is thoughtful, guiding you safely to the throne in the wee hours.Verdict: The Kohler PureWash E590 is more than just a bidet; it’s a bathroom tech haven for everyone. Its blend of precision engineering, thoughtful features, and user-friendly design make it a winner in my book. Highly Recommend.

Good quality seat, all parts seem to be very well made. I have had a toto and this one is as good as the one i had with a few extra features. One thing i do want to mention is the night light. No mention on how to turn it off in the manual but found out from the internet that you have to hold the stop button a few seconds until it turns off. Would have preferred different dimming settings for the light; it is really bright. Otherwise, this is a really good quality seat, it doesn’t seem cheap and I am satisfied.

I just purchased this to replace my well used Kohler K 4737.We had that model for 6 1/2 years. Never a problem. Heavily used.We just decided to take advantage of a good price on this newer model.I really felt badly when I disposed of an old friend that never let us down.I will compare the two.The biggest difference to me is the inline hybrid heater of this model, vs the tank heater of the K 4737.I like the tank heater better. Immediate and very hot water. Can actually feel scalding at the highest setting. Reheats very quickly. The 8298 starts off cool, and does not get as hot.Why get the new model? The K 4737 looks like it belongs in a nursing home, with its high tank. The new model looks much better. The new model has stainless steel nozzles vs plastic. My wife says this will be much easier to clean. The new model also feels more comfortable to sit in.I didn’t need to change the fittings when I switched seats. That was nice. Caution. Before you place the seat on the toilet, pull out the inlet connection from the seat. I mounted it first, and was not able to pull out the inlet tube. Had to remove the seat. When I reinstalled it, a 10 second job, I could not get the seat to lock in place again. Maybe a benefit. Doesn’t move. Easier to pull out to clean. These are very easy to pull away for cleaning, even when locked. Just push a tab.I have had two other brands that had remotes. Found them to be a pain, that constantly dropped on the hard bathroom floor. Did not want a remote model. Both of the other brands worked nicely, but developed defects within two years for one, and 90 days for the other. Junked them. Mfg no help.In my review of the K 4737, I put three photos on, showing the installation by an electrician. Metal sheathed wiring was connected and ran from the GFI plug, under the sink cabinet, and another plug was installed on the cabinet side next to the toilet. Nice to have a second plug on the other side of the cabinet. Let me separate the waterpic from the electric toothbrush. Installation was neat, invisible, and no wall repairs were needed,Also want to add that I installed the other brands in a different bathroom. The electrician, from the same company, had no idea what to do. Had no metal sheathed wiring, required per code. I showed him the first installation He replicated it. Recommend that if you have an electrician out to do one plug, have him do it for your other bathrooms at the same time. If you need it for another bidet it will be there. If not, the extra plug is nice.

I was having back surgery, so I decided to buy. I had an electrician install outlet by toilet. Then I installed the Toilet seat. Just shut off water first. Easy installation/instructions. Water heats up, different nozzles, air dryer. It is time consuming. So just relax and enjoy.

I was wary at first, but a good bidet beats toilet paper. No contest. I was worried about the bidet itself getting dirty, but the wands pull out of the way and keep themselves clean, particular on this model with UV cleaning built-in. I was worried about discomfort, but after the first couple usages, you get used to it.We don’t like to think about what, *ahem, gets left behind when using toilet paper. Water from a bidet does a far better job and doesn’t waste paper. And keeping the controls and seat clean really hasn’t been a problem at all.

My wife has many health issues due to a hemorrhagic stroke 15 years ago. A lot of brain damage leaving her as a 12 year girl instead of a 68 year old women. Due to lack of feeling in her left foot she has taken many falls with some resulting in broken bones. She has cages and several fused area in her back as well as a fused right wrist. Life is very difficult for her. After the stroke I became her full time caregiver. Many times I have had to help her clean up after using the toilet. I installed this bidet seat a few days ago and it instantly allowed her to take care of cleaning up just buy pushing buttons. It washes and dries her with the push of a button. Honestly, the best part of this unit is that it gave her back a bit of dignity.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this on my apartment’s toilet for almost one year now. Really enjoy the experience, and it still looking new after one year. Really easy to clean and easy to use. It has all the useful features for this good price!

I looked at many choices and I am very pleased with this choice. Easy to install and a game-changer to use. If you are thinking at all about wanting a matching bidet cover for your biscuit color Kohler toilet, this is the top end model and worth every penny. Every feature, once you use it, will become a “can’t live without it”.We did not have an electric outlet close, but the time and cost to have one professionally installed was reasonable – an should not be reason to go without an electric heated-water model. The only negative is that the operating instructions were not detailed enough. But that is easily solved with your own trial-and error using the remote.Bottom line: a full-featured bidet is something everyone should have the option to use. If you are considering one – just get it.
