I recently purchased the OREiN Solar Flood Light, and I must say, it’s a game-changer for my backyard studio lighting needs. Initially, I was a bit skeptical about its strength, anticipating a floodlight intensity, but it aligns more with the strength of a porch light. However, it perfectly suits my requirements. The standout feature for me is the Bluetooth connectivity that links the light with the Aidot APP. This tech-savvy addition means I can adjust the brightness, switch between various modes, and control groups of lights, all from my phone. It’s a significant upgrade from the days of climbing ladders to make adjustments.Charging efficiency is impressive – the monocrystalline silicon solar panel boosts it by 30%, ensuring that the 2200mAh battery keeps the light active for 10-15 hours. This duration is more than enough to last through the night, providing security for my studio, driveway, and other outdoor areas.Group control and the energy-saving function are notable additions. Being able to manage multiple lights within a 130ft range and extend the battery life with a simple button click on the app adds convenience and efficiency. The motion sensor and adjustable head make this light incredibly functional. I appreciate being able to customize the motion detection distance and the ambient light trigger level. The three working modes – Motion, Light, and Security – cater to different needs and preferences. Currently, I have it set on the Motion mode for security purposes.Installation was a breeze. The split design, allowing the solar panel and light to be placed separately, is a thoughtful touch. I positioned the solar panel a few feet up on the roof using the provided 16.4 ft cable, which was straightforward.Durability and weather resistance are crucial for outdoor lighting, and this light doesn’t disappoint. Its IP65 waterproof rating and robust construction mean it can withstand harsh weather conditions. The 12-month warranty and responsive customer service are reassuring, adding to the overall positive experience.A minor suggestion would be integrating Wi-Fi connectivity for broader control range, as currently, it operates on Bluetooth, which limits the range. In summary, the OREiN Solar Flood Light is an excellent investment for anyone looking for a reliable, versatile, and user-friendly outdoor lighting solution. It may not be as powerful as a traditional floodlight, but its features and performance make it a perfect fit for my needs.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered the OREiN Smart Solar Outdoor Light mainly because the solar charging panels can be separated from the individual lights. I also wanted another solar light with a remote so when I saw that this light was smart and that I could use my phone, the decision was a no brainer. Since I plan on just turning the lights on/off and don’t need the motion sensor, using my phone as a remote was an important feature for me.I will be installing this at my cabin to light up the beach so that when the tide goes out, we can better see the oysters. I decided on installing solar lights not only because it’s cheaper (no need to hire an electrician or use electricity) but it’s also environmentally friendly.Since the lights at my cabin need to be installed under the deck, which is in the shade most of the day, placing the solar panel towards the top of the deck will allow the solar panels to charge up more effectively. The light was easy to set up with the app and included instructions. I like that I can turn on/off the light, change the settings, and check the battery level all on my phone. This is very convenient and I don’t have to worry about losing a remote. After I connected the solar light to my phone, I tested it out in the parking area behind my house.First, I left it out on a cloudy day. It charged up just one little bar which is typical for solar lights when it’s not very bright outside. I’m sure on a sunny day, it will charge up much more quickly. Since I live in the Pacific Northwest (winter now), I may not be able to test the charging time in sun until the spring.Next, I placed them on the wall in front of the driveway and as you can see from the video, they were powerful enough to light it up. Of course, it wasn’t super bright like an electrical floodlight. For this reason, I plan on using 3 solar lights at the beach. (If they were electrical, I’d probably only need one or two.)I highly recommend this solar light, especially if it will be placed in a shaded area. Being able to move the solar charging panel to a place which receives more direct sun will guarantee brighter and longer lasting light. Furthermore, even if you don’t plan on turning off/on the light with the app, the smart feature makes it easy to switch between the different modes and check the battery level.

This is a no nonsense light which is flexible enough to be used in a variety of locations. In large measure that is due to the ability to locate the solar panel separate from the lights so that only the panel needs to be on a sunlit side of a building. Therefore the light can be right under the eves or on a darker side of the house. In my case this is very important. The light is bright enough for basic security and/or to light the way for a driveway or foot path, etc.I have used it for a couple of days now and everything works well as advertised. The detection mode is quite sensitive and dependable if the location is proper because it is most sensitive when someone is crossing its path rather than moving directly towards it. That is, the light should not point towards an oncoming person or vehicle but be located so approaching persons or vehicles will be to one side of a drive or path. This is true of most similar motion detection lights and all hardware is included.I found it to be really easy to set up and mount.Another good feature is that the sights swivel and the two side lights can be independently pointed to get the best coverage and this ability sets it apart from other lights I have seen. This is easily a 5 star light which I can recommend without hesitation. It is at a reasonable price too and a good value in my opinion. As always, this is an honest and unbiased review, based on my experience and testing over two days so far.

Note that this says it’s a flood light, but I would say it’s more the strength of a porch light. With that said, it works perfect for my needs. I have a backyard studio that I wanted a motion light on for security purposes. I also didn’t want to have to change batteries out like on the other motion lights we have around the house. This one was exactly what I was looking for. The solar panel can either mount directly on top of the light, or you can unscrew it and run the nice long cable to wherever you need it in order to get direct sun. In my case, I just ran it a few feet up to the roof and screwed it in place. It’s nice that it has an app, but you don’t have to use it in order for the light to work. I think I’ll mostly just use it for seeing the battery status. It would be nice if the app and light ran off of Wi-Fi so that you didn’t have to be in Bluetooth range to connect. The light has three different settings that can be changed by the app, or by the button on the light itself. I have it set for just motion detection, but you can also have it come on at dusk, or just be on/off. You can also adjust the brightness of the light in the app.

This is a great light. It is the first I have seen that has instructions on how to replace the batteries. This is a good indicator that the manufacturer believes the light will last longer than the first set of batteries. It has a good length of cord so if you need to mount it in a shady place the solar panel can be mounted in a different place that gets more sunlight. It has an app (AiDot). Where you can set up several lights.I like that you can set the sensor to 15, 30, 60, 120 minutes and set the motion to 10, 20, 30, or 40 feet. This is perfect to place where you don’t want to have to run wires. Easy install.

This light is on steroids! I really wasn’t expecting much output from a solar powered light at all, but I’m seriously impressed. I got this solar floodlight because we have a side end of our house that has no outlets, and very little lighting. This floodlight is a great option for anyone that needs a smaller area lit up. My husband mounted this on an eave, and during wintertime, he opted to keep the solar panel close because it gets decent light to charge. When summer hits, we’ll have to move the solar panel due to leaves and shade. We have our floodlight set to go off when it’s motion activated-we don’t need it on dusk to dawn. The motion detection sensitivity is fantastic, and it senses movement beginning about 30 feet away. This is a we’ll constructed floodlight, the cord, solar panel and lights are very durable and are handling the freezing temperatures we’ll. I think this light is is an excellent value.*Please view pictures and any video as I consider them part of my full review.

This is a bright light and work very well with it’s motion detection feature. I like that there are three panels that can be pointed is slightly different directions, putting light where you need it. I also like that the solar panel is removeable. That allows you to put the light up under the eves of the house, but put the solar panel in a place where it will get maximum sunlight. The light can be controlled with an app on your phone, but there is absolutely no need for it. You can do everything without the application, and in order to use it, you have to register. For the sake of this review, I did so, but there are so few features associated with a solar floodliight, it honestly just felt like they wanted an address to market to. I’m sure they have other products that benefit from being “online” but I don’t see this as one of them.Still, overall a good light and a nice way to light up those darks spots around your abode.

This was the perfect brightness for above my garage door, I lowered the sensor far enough so it wont pick up cars coming down my street but if anyone walks or pulls into the driveway it will come on, I’m in Florida so there’s plenty of sun here to keep it charged. I wouldn’t say it its bright enough to do any work in the driveway or front yard but its more then enough to see for getting groceries in the house or anything like that. Recommended

The unfortunately truth now is that we have to be very aware of our own security. I have a couple of areas of my property that do not have electricity to them, but that I really wanted to have light to keep my home and family safe. This security flood light does exactly what I need! I was able to attach it without running any electricity, which was quite costly, and it lights the area with absolutely no effort. It was easy to install and I anticipate will serve my needs to years to come.

The media could not be loaded. I use this light on the side of my garage to give extra lighting by the trash can area and the gate to the backyard. There are 3 modes to the light. 1. Motion 2. Light 3. Security. I use it mostly for motion. I have it at the side of the garage to help see the trash cans late at night when I take garbage or recycle out. The security mode will detect human presence and cause the light to flash. It can also send a message to your phone if you use the app. The light mode makes it work dusk to dawn. Turns on automatically at night and off in the morning. The light isn’t as big as I thought from the pictures, but it works well in the confined area that I have. You can download an app, or you can set all the functions with the button on the light. The large light is movable, 120 degrees and the two side lights 330 degrees in one direction and 120 degrees in another direction, and it’s IP65 waterproof and has motion detection.A nice feature is that the solar panel is detached and has a long cable so that you can place it for the best location for the most sunlight for recharging. The motion sensor detects 180 degrees, and the sensitivity is adjustable.Overall: The OREiN Smart Solar Outdoor Light is a versatile and efficient device that offers a high level of customization and control. Its robust build quality, coupled with its advanced features and functionalities, make it a valuable addition to any outdoor space.
