so far so goodi like the USBC in to power the lamp and chargerthere is a USBA output in backi like that it charges thru my wallet case, drivers license and a credit card.i like the clock light is dimmable and the small profile will keep my room dark. off as well.the light is a simple tap to turn on and off and to cycle thru 5 diff lights.i think it remembers your last setting tho which is nicedimmer is a hold and cycles brighter to darker.no alarm but that is okay with me.no light to tell you if it is charging.if stopping from over heat is an issue then I may give up on this 3 in 1 design.

The charger for my phone is great. So easy to use and the light feature is nice when I just want little light to find what I’m looking for on the table top or to use as a night light.

The lamp doesn’t draw a lot of power, but it isn’t super bright either, the box claims 350LM and that seems about right. A USB tester connected to the USB input cable shows 5.07V 0.77A 3.88W (after the lamp had been running for hours), so this lamp draws about 4W on full brightness with main lamp only. The numbers varied a very tiny bit for the 3 different colors but not by much. I turned on the color lamp in the base (the ‘salt lamp’) and it went up to 5.07V 0.80-0.81A 4.11W and it went up to 5.07V 0.82A 4.16W when the color changing was on.I’ve been using it as a desk lamp for several months now and it works in that role but I have a couple of other desk lamps that I turn on when I need really good light. Overall I’m pretty happy with it.

I ordered this for my teen and she loves it. The convenience of battery powered and USB is appreciated. We love the glow salt lamps give and the air purification (they claim to have). The RGB LED’s are fun to look at and the batteries last a long time. The main lamp is brighter than I thought it would be. The portability of batteries is one of our favorite features.

First off, I cannot believe how many reviews I see saying to take the salt out and use the container as a pen holder. I thought one of the main purposes of this lamp was the salt, and if one wants a lamp without it, I would suggest getting another lamp. It is unbelievable to me that even if one were not interested in any health benefits from salt (it is not magic, it is a mineral, and I have found it helpful at times for my respiratory issues) that they still would not find it beautiful just looking at the salt lit up. It is wasteful, and I just do not see the point of buying it when there are other lamps like this out there. Plus see my comment below about having pens in a container that will heat up.With that said, this is a nice lamp, but I would never buy or use this just because it is a lamp and not have the salt in it. I have found other lamps just like this that would be cheaper. You could use the bottom with something else in it, but I just feel it will not have the same pretty effect. There is a switch at the bottom with one side controlling the top light and the other side controlling the salt light. The light is still going to be a little warm or hot even though it is fairly small. I cannot keep it too close to me right now that it has gotten hot where I am, so if that was a reason for getting this, it will not be helped. The light has to be fairly warm to work with the salt well, and I am not sure I would want pens in a container being heated up (they would not get too hot, but still. I have seen pens get overheated, and it messes things up with the ink), so I would not light up the bottom with them in it at least. It is a nice lamp, and I love that it is rechargeable, which was one of my reasons for getting it, along with the salt being lit up. The light does bend around in any direction you want it. It is simple to use, and I never had to look at the instructions to use it for the first time. My reason for getting this was to have the salt light and regular lamp all in one without having to need extra outlets or charging cords, and this will work well for me.

I have been cutting my hair with just one floor lamp diagonally on my right and so there was always a shadow on my left face. This time is different thanks to the AONTESS Small Table Lamp. The desktop lamp can be used as wired or wireless light source. I could place it on the table a little bit on my left side in front of me to complement the floor lamp on the right even though I didn’t have any USB power outlet to plug in. That really helped to remove the shadow on the left side of my face while cutting my hair so that I could see my head clearer as if I would have had only one light source because I was able to set the light intensity on desk lamp matching that of the floor lamp.In light of a recent power outage causing my apartment to be totally in the dark without any flashlight except for my laptop and my iPhone. Now, the AONTESS Small Table Lamp comes in handy during the blackout thanks to its built-in rechargeable battery. I just need to charge it up and be prepared to deploy the desk lamp as a wireless light source next time. This is better than wasting the battery on my iPhone as a flashlight.

I like that this is compact and that I can turn it any which way so that the light doesn’t keep my husband up. The light is also dimmable. It can also serve as a nightlight if you turn the lamp part off because below the rocks there are 2 different colored lights you can cycle through. The only negative thing is that the on/off button (which is the same one you use to cycle through the lighting options) is loud when you press it. If you’re reading beside a light sleeper, you may wake them. This last thing isn’t a pro or a con; I just want to put it out there that I can’t say anything one way or the other about the salt rock things. I don’t know what that’s all about. I’m probably going to take them out and use it to hold pens.
