My last blender is o l d – as in belonged to my parents – and I am at “grandmother age”! My husband wanted to get me the Ninja Nutri Bullet as a gift and I was lukewarm about ordering it…as I said I did not know that I needed this! After some thought though I began looking at various Ninja models and when I saw the Twisti I knew it was the right model for me. More versatile that the Nutri Bullet (imho) and it has a significantly higher wattage, plus it includes the cups that had drawn me to the Nutri Bullet originally.I have only been using this beast for only a day, but I am thoroughly impressed! This machine is just so good!I made fruit and yoghurt smoothies with extra protein today and they were ready in a flash! So good! The parts are all easy to remove and take apart and they are very easy to clean. The container and the cups are made of a quality plastic – like Lexan…sturdy and well made. I question the longevity of the blade assembly simply because it is plastic (old blenders had glass containers and the blades were set into metal), but since I see that replacement parts are available and not very costly I am not worried. I also don’t think that any parts will need replacement any time soon because this machine is very well made. It sits on the counter very securely with gripper suction cups that actually work exceedingly well.Pros:1. Fantastic motor and wattage2. Not huge – does not take up much counter space3. Works thoroughly and quickly4. Has tamper legs that can be rotated as you blend (not available when you are using the cups – only with the large container5. Well made!6. Capable of doing things like making nut butters, crushing ice, and so much more7. Replacements parts like cups, containers, blades, seal rings etc are readily available and not too costlyPossible Cons1. Longevity for plastic parts with the blade assembly ?I am very happy with this blender and think it is a little powerhouse!

I have two older Ninjas, two Bullets, a Vitamix, and a commercial smoothie blender. The Vitamix is a hassle to get out all of the smoothie, and is a royal pain to clean. The Ninjas and Bullets aren’t up to the smoothie’s I make…seeds, fruit, nuts, etc. The commercial blender is fantastic but only if you make a full pitcher (74ozs), so I needed something smaller as I am on a 90% Fruitarian/sprouts smoothie regimen, long term.I have found as a martial artist and farmer, liquifying my food seems to be used by my body better. This thing is fantastic. Just the right size for one smoothie meal, grinds up seeds and nuts perfectly…..even roasted hemp. Some greens require two smoothie cycles so that everything fits thru my straw….but that isn’t a big deal.Takes up little counter space, easy to put together, easy to clean. I use the pitcher attachment for all liquids. Why? Because I have found that sooner or later the upside down attachments leak….does this on all my Ninjas and Bullets…and not only is costly for the ingredients I use, but is a hell of a mess to clean upThe suction cups on the main body are almost like glue. I don’t leave many appliances on the counter because I live in earthquake country, but I feel pretty safe leaving this on the counter all the time. And lastly, out of all the appliances I have, and I literally have everything made on this planet…..it’s the only one to make full proof mayo without separating.100 stars from me.

I’m writing this review in case others are in need of a blender for different purposes than the average buyer. My dogs’ diet includes a puréed fruit and veggie mix. I’m prepping at least 10 pounds of veggies at a time and I need something to purée that load with a variety of veggies. Out of the box; I ran through 10 pounds of kale, red cabbage and celery, none of which were steamed or boiled first. The blender handled it beautifully to a thick puree. The twistie cap, which I thought was a gimmick, actually worked quite well to get the bigger pieces out of the center and down to the blades. The canister is fairly small though. I didn’t take any stars off the review because it was clearly in the description and I was just not paying attention. The blender errored twice for me and I suspect I got impatient and over loaded it. When I fed 1/2 a handful at a time it ran well. A bit annoying, but 30 seconds per 1/2 a handful with the “smoothie” button worked well. It’s also quite noisy. I’ll keep this one, but will be looking for one with a bigger canister.

I have used bleders in the past, and they were often very cumbersome and hard to clean. This one is not and blends everything I throw at it. The best part is I don’t even need to use the main pitcher, I just use the smaller glasses that come with it. It makes protein shakes a breeze and the pieces come apart very easily for easy rinsing and cleaning. If you don’t blend, you should now because this makes it too easy!

So far, i love this blender. Not to big, easy to clean , and extremely efficient! Very affordable for such a good solid machine.

Very happy with this purchase. I was using one of those portable smoothie blenders that are so popular these days. It was fine for girlie man smoothies, but it couldn’t hold much and bogged down easily. Enter the Ninja. This thing is powerful, and the serving cups are great. I haven’t found anything that this thing can’t tackle in the realm of smoothie ingredients. As everybody mentions, this thing is loud. I’m happy to make that tradeoff for being able to have a smoothie done in 15 seconds.

Best buy last year. Not cheap, but worth your money. Now irreplaceable when making a smoothie for breakfast every day. I really like that the package includes cups in which you can grind everything and you can drink immediately after changing the lid. Really powerful and worth the money.

First of all LOVE the size! I have a decent size kitchen but not enough counter space. So, I have to be choosy what I put on the counter. I basically will only put things I am going to be using daily. And, well this is one I am going to be using daily. So, plus on the size. Secondly, I haven’t had a “full size” blender in years, I don’t remember the last one I had. I have a smaller hand held blender, but it won’t blend ice (just smoothies). I am in a new chapter in my life where I am losing weight (lots of weight). I am going to have bariatric surgery soon. And, part of the process is drinking more protein shakes. Well, actually drinking more for the rest of life. I like the protein shakes but I wanted to be able to create other drinks – like with ice and maybe fruit. I just make an iced coffee drink with Atkins coffee flavored protein shake, ice and a little tiny bit of peppermint coffee creamer. It blended it super fast – scared the crap out of my cats but they will get used to it – lol lol. Boy they can run fast when they need too lol lol. I need to keep working on it because I don’t think I added enough ice this time. But, hey it is a process. I also love that after my surgery I have a stage where I can eat food but it has to be blended, smooth. So, I can blend soups and make them super smooth so I can eat them. Also, I am going to try blending other foods. I am actually excited to use this. Couple of things. I had a suction cups on the bottom of the base, BUT you should really hold on to it (don’t walk away from it). Other thing – it is actually easy to assemble. I mention this because I have moderate/severe Rheumatoid Arthritis/Disease. And my wrists and hands are a mess. I was able to put the top on and take it off with not to much difficulty. A little – but not bad enough that I can’t use the unit. They are right – cleaning it pretty easy. So, I am really glad that I purchased this. 🙂

I use this to make frozen drinks. There are 3 different sizes of containers. The user twists the blades onto the top of the container, then flips it upside down, and twists that onto the motor base. The twisting motion each time is easy and seals well. The base suctions to the surface it is sitting on so it does not move while blending. There are 5 settings to blend. The “frozen” setting runs for 60 seconds and pulses on / off a few times to automatically chop the ice to a well blended mixture. The containers is then to easy to untwist. You can drink right out of the container cup you blended in, or pour into another glass. Just rinse the blades under water and put the container in the dishwasher. So simple to use! The blades are even designed for usefulness and safety! The exposed top blades are such that if you accidentally touch them you will not cut yourself, and the sharpest blades are underneath so you won’t accidentally cut yourself!

I love this blender it’s a little work horse. It works great for ice. I’ve used it everyday since I purchased it and it hasn’t slowed down one bit.I’ve only used the smaller carafe as I just make smoothies for breakfast everyday. You won’t be disappointed if you purchase this Ninja Twist blender. There is only one thing I find annoying and that is the suction cups to keep it still while blending but it’s annoying when cleaning and moving around. Some people might like this but I’d prefer a option with out the suction on the bottom
