Bruh, this thing is amazing. When you factor in the price this thing is a must buy. It looks great, it works great, and the price is ultra low. This thing has elevated my coffee game to the next level. The only reason I would tell you not to but this is if you have disposable income and can buy a luxurious upgrade that would cost 100s of dollars more.

A friend of mine has this and I liked it so much that I replaced my current hot water kettle with this one. I like that it’s a glass carafe, has the variable temperature settings as well as a dial for all temps in-between and it will keep the water temp on hold so that I don’t have to keep reheating the water. That said, and this may just be me but I found the instructions a bit lacking. My friend did, too, We were unclear about all the features and how to make it do all that it’s supposed to so I’m still playing around with that but I’m very happy with my purchase.

My Mom would say this tea kettle is “over-engineered”. It has a lot of bells and whistles but does a variety of things. Really versatile piece of kitchen equipment that we use almost every day.Pros:Different preset temperature settings for different types of teas (I don’t know much about the various types of teas but apparently black tea has a different temp setting than green tea than oolong, etc.). If the different steeping temps enhance my tea experience then great! This thing heats up FAST!We use the kettle to heat up water for soup, raman, anything that needs boiling water. The infuser is sturdy and the holes are small enough to add coffee grounds and make coffee without grounds getting into the coffee pot (or my cup).Really easy to clean the infuser – it attaches and detaches from the lid easily.Cons:The labels for the various buttons and dial on the base are black lettering on a grey colored base. It is hard to read the writing for the controls. The pot itself contains the heating elements and electronics in the base and has to be hand washed (and can’t be submerged in water).

I really like this tea kettle. The bad: the face of the control panel is grey and the labels on it are all black. Until I remember what each button or dial is for, I have to use a flashlight to read them. This will resolve itself fairly quickly as I get more comfortable with what buttons do what. The neutral: this heats up fairly quickly, but when it gets within about 5 degrees of the target temp it slows down in a big way, and it takes a while to go those last 4 or 5 degrees. When putting the lid in place, be sure to aign it so the arrow on the lid, and the arrow right above the handle are pointing to each other. This will allow the lid to fit perfectly in place. If the arrows do not point at each other, then the lid will sit on top of the handle. The good: I like the glass. It is extremely easy to see the water level and also when the bubbles begin. The temp of the glass is no hotter than other kettles with non-insulated metal. The biggest pro with this kettle is something I have had a very difficult time finding. I wanted a kettle that had set temps, but also let you set your own temp, with a variance of 1 degree. Granted, the temp will drop pretty quickly when you take the kettle off the base and start pouring into the tea infuser, but still, I would like to control that aspect. Loose leaf teas come with all sorts of recommended temps and it would be nice to set it for the exact one that is recommended. One thing I wish this also did would be to allow you to choose a preset temp, then allow you to customize with that as your starting point. So far I have not been able to get it to do that. You basically choose preset or customize. So, I can’t have everything, boo hoo, ha. I’ll take this dual method all day long as opposed to only presets that are defined by the manufacturer. The temperature is fairly accurate. It was within 1 degree of a quality temp probe that I have. When it is on hold, then it works like your house thermostat. It will not turn the heater on until it is a couple degrees below your set temp, and will not turn the heat off until it is a couple degrees above the selected temp.I heartily recommend it to anyone looking for a tea kettle for loose tea.

Update: It doesn’t really change my rating, but the first time I went to clean the control panel, the labels wiped right off. You may want to cover them in clear stickers, clear nail polish, or varnish. So far that’s the only issue that has developed. Hopefully this does not speak to other quality control shortcomings in the product. This is a great tea kettle. On the one hand, it heats water, how awesome could it be? But seriously this thing is incredible. It looks cool, it’s fascinating to watch the water heat up (I know it’s silly, but it’s true). The display is easy to read. But the best part is the tremendous amount of control compared to other electric kettles. Firstly it tells you what the current temperature of the water in the pot is, even if its at room temperature. Secondly you can select from pre-selected final temperatures or set a custom heat target. This is perfect for directly brewing tea (the included infuser is great) without scorching it. It’s also great for heating coffee water for a french press, or heating water for instant oatmeal. It’s made out of good quality looking materials, doesn’t take up any more space than it needs to, and starts working very quickly. The capacity is a little understated – obviously there’s some safety margin to prevent water boiling out of the top, but there’s so much margin it safely holds at least one more cup than its rated. The only tiny nit-picky things, are that it’s easy to accidentally knock the infuser off if you try to twist the pot lid as you’re installing it – you don’t need to twist it, and if you don’t the infuser will stay put just fine, but I thought I’d mention this. The other thing is that the level markings on the side of the pot are somewhat low contrast – it can be hard to make them out while you’re looking down on them – it would have been much better, I think, if they had been printed in black. This is a great product that’s well worth the asking price.

Awesome pot. Has a thermal regulator that even shows current temp of the kettle when you wake the base up. And about that thermometer, you have 8 thermal presets, keep warm/ maintain temp and a custom temp knob. Kid keeping you up and you REALLY need that bottle? Spin to the formula option and poke start for a 115F pot as you stumble around filing powder into the bottle. Kettle heats up ridiculously fast, so there is very little waiting. There is a self safety if the water cannot hit the designated temp and shuts off the heat in a minute. With that selection, you have 5 tea options that you can steep out right in the included strainer in-kettle right at the proper temp for each. I knew that you should do different tea at different temps.. but oh man i was missing out on some amazing flavour by doing it the right way for once.Lid has a nice double line silicone gasket and arrows to match for the handle cutaway and a micro perforated strainer that twists on or off. The base buttons seem water resistant and the cord, while not long, has a storage loop underneath.

I need hot water often enough that I finally broke down and bought an electric kettle. Initially I purchased a much more expensive one from a local box store. It lasted less than a year, and I figured it didn’t really take a lot of technology to boil water. I purchased this because it looks good and I had faith that anyone could make a kettle that boils water. As I expected, I was right. This one boils much faster than my former kettle, looks good on the shelf, and has held up to near daily use. It’s easy to clean, but doesn’t really get dirty. It’s very easy to use and the multiple preset temperature settings make getting it to just the right temp a breeze. The ability to also set my own temperature is also useful. I would gladly recommend this to friends and family, and in turn I am recommending it to you.

6.5 min to boil the max amount of water to 210degrees. The finish of the base is really well done and everything has nice tight tolerances. The buttons have great feel to them and the screen responds very well and and very legible. The options are very easy to use for different teas, and coffee or just boil and we have used it a few times making various foods as well as drinks. The one thing id suggest. Is the keep warm function. It does not initiate a icon and it just beeps twice. Not sure if its on or not. If i go to the selections in the dial and select keep warm it displays nicely and im aware its on and functioning, but the stand alone button is a bit unclear. Id suggest finding a way to display if its on or not, or more clear instructions. Also the packaging was very well done, with everything packaged very nicely in the box, clearly the box was thought out as well, not thrown together.Minus the minor suggestion about the keep warm button, im very pleased.

The Offacy electric kettle heats water incredibly fast. I love the precise temperature control buttons. The glass body looks nice and allows seeing the water level. It’s BPA-free and the lid opens with the push of a button. The included infuser is handy for steeping loose tea. Auto shut off for safety.

The kettle looks incredible, definitely fits in modern kitchen aesthetics, I can appreciate the variety of heating options and the lcd panel that shows you what is going on. The temperature is shown when you set the kettle on the platform and as it heats which is cool for monitoring. The knob can probably be upgraded to feel better and more responsive with the clicks to indicate the settings, but the buttons are fine. I very much like the preset temps that display the type of tea or other beverage like coffee for setting the heat, it has settings for different kinds of tea too.
